Answering a question first. Why what a barking dog? Along with the bark collar to help prevent unwanted barking, getting your dog accustomed to things that can be disturbing or awakening, is an even better idea. I have a dog that learned a whole would bark collar, but this nasty, shiny, barking, meowing kind of sound that continues for serveral minutes straight, not launched it. He taught not to bark, but I taught him to be quiet. There are always side effects positive punishment.
